Promotional lighters, book matches and match boxes
In light of the recent smoking ban and other legislation which has encompassed the UK region by region throughout 2007, Brilliant Promotions would like to highlight a few changes to our supply of promotional lighters, book matches and promotional boxes of matches for clients.
Sample of promotional matches and branded lighters can no longer be sent through the post within the UK for security reasons, as outlined by recent changes in legislation. Instead, we are able to send the empty books or boxes of matches to clients and the same applies to promotional branded lighters. In effect customers will receive the shell of the goods without the working parts.
Additionally, the whole market for promotional lighters and match products has significantly changed as a result of the changes to the legislation mentioned above. Hotels and bars plus restaurants are no longer using thee promotional gifts as a means of advertising their brand identity with customers as a result of the smoking bans and so the demand for these products has substantially shifted away from smaller supply orders. As a result of this we are seeing only larger scale orders from larger European customers dominated this section of the promotional goods market, which has resulted in minimum print runs for all match products to be increased to 25,000 units. The minimum order run for promotional lighters has not changed and Brilliant Promotions are happy to be able to supply a wide range of branded lighter products for all customers.
